Sanitizing a microneedling stamp is essential to ensure proper hygiene and reduce the risk of infection. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to sanitize a microneedling stamp:

  1. Wash Your Hands:

    • Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap and water. Clean hands will help prevent the transfer of bacteria during the sanitization process.
  2. Prepare a Disinfectant Solution:

    • Use a hospital-grade disinfectant or an EPA-registered disinfectant solution. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for dilution and usage. Ex) I use 91%(recommended 70% above) isopropyl alcohol, rubbing alcohol, to wipe, rinse, soak for 10 mins before dry and store it.
  3. Submerge the Microneedling Stamp:

    • Immerse the microneedling stamp in the disinfectant solution. Ensure that the entire device is submerged and that the solution reaches all the micro-needles.
  4. Soak for Recommended Time:

    • Allow the microneedling stamp to soak in the disinfectant solution for the recommended time specified by the disinfectant product. This time is crucial to ensure effective sanitization.
  5. Agitate Gently (Optional):

    • You can gently agitate the disinfectant solution or move the microneedling stamp within the solution to ensure that the disinfectant reaches all parts of the device.
  6. Remove and Drain:

    • After the recommended soaking time, carefully remove the microneedling stamp from the disinfectant solution. Allow any excess solution to drain off.
  7. Allow to Air Dry:

    • Place the microneedling stamp on a clean and dry surface to air dry. Ensure that it is completely dry before storage or use.
  8. Store in a Clean Container:

    • Once dry, store the microneedling stamp in a clean and sterile container. This helps prevent contamination between uses.
  9. Regular Maintenance:

    • Regularly clean and sanitize your microneedling stamp after each use. Follow the same steps to maintain proper hygiene.

Always follow the specific instructions provided by the microneedling stamp manufacturer for cleaning and sanitizing. Additionally, consider the material of the microneedling stamp, as some may be more sensitive to certain disinfectants. If in doubt, consult the product's guidelines or contact the manufacturer for clarification on suitable cleaning methods.

It is recommended to replace every months.
